Job Title: Technical Account Manager Location: Markham, Ontario Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Account Manager to join an exceptional team in the Markham, Ontario area. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and nurturing client relationships while providing technical expertise and support. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a unique manufacturing environment. An ideal candidate must be from manufacturing/industrial background with strong experience in account management and mechanical aptitude. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for designated key accounts, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to understand client requirements and deliver tailored solutions that meet or exceed expectations. Provide technical guidance and support to clients, offering insights and recommendations on product usage, optimization, and troubleshooting. Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products and services to existing clients. Monitor account performance and provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify potential opportunities or threats. Requirements: 2-4 years of experience in technical sales and account management within the manufacturing sector. Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships, preferably in a B2B environment. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints and communicate complex concepts effectively. Experienced with AutoCAD Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
