Your new role  

You will play an integral role in full cycle accounting, general ledger and financial reporting analysis. Including the establishment and maintenance of processes and protocols to ensure financial controls are in place. The duties include, but are not limited to; performing month end closing procedures, understanding and establishing timely reconciliation procedures to ensure divisions are working together, calculating and remit sales tax filings, working with the director of finance and supporting the accounting team to ensure delivery of accurate financial information. 

What you'll need to succeed  

To be successful for this role, we are looking for someone with around 2 years of full cycle accounting experience, post secondary education in a related field and ideally working towards their-designation. You will have very high attention to detail, and have a continuous improvement mindset, fantastic communication skills and a good grasp of MS Excel, and if you have worked with an Inventory Management System, that would be an asset!
