Client Advisor, New Business

Job Summary:
We are recruiting for a full time RIBO/OTL licensed individual to provide customer service. Our policies are tailored for owners of beauty care businesses, such as hair stylists and estheticians, and pet care businesses, such as groomers, dog trainers and boarding facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with personal insurance experience to transition to commercial insurance, as we will train you on our specialized program and you will become the expert that assists our clients!

As part of a new business sales team, you will focus on responding to inbound quote requests for commercial insurance through, inbound calls, internal referrals, and a network of regional offices. The Client Advisor, New Business will help to develop relationships with potential clients by assessing their insurance needs, providing coverage recommendations from top insurers, and completing risk assessments. To ensure the focus remains on new business, once the risk is bound and issued, the new client will be assigned to a servicing broker for future handling.

Qualifications and Soft Skills

• Preference for an RIBO or OTL Licensed (we’ll help you get RIBO licensed)
• Customer service experience
• Self-motivated
• Sales-focused and committed to excellence in customer service
• Strong interpersonal skills
• High degree of comfort with technology – we are paperless!
• Skilled at problem solving and decision making in the client’s best interest
• CAIB designation an asset
