Duties & Responsibilities: - Load materials into vehicle and install straps, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit
- Follow company delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency of delivery run
- Manually, load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms or lifting devices
- Check all load–related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct as you promote good working relationships with all customers
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: - Valid Class 5/G drivers’ license with six years driving experience required
- Driver’s abstract with no major infractions subject to approval by FGI insurers required
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required
- Heavy duty parts supply background and/or knowledge an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills – dedicated to exceeding expectations of internal and external customers
- Strong written and verbal skills – ability to write and speak succinctly with customers and colleagues
- Basic to proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (email, word, excel) and ability to learn in-house systems
