This role presents an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the growth, leadership, and success of our organization.

About Us:

Founded in 2019 to be Canada’s preferred destination for culturally relevant content solutions, The Good Karma Co. introduced the UNINTERRUPTED brand into the Canadian market, in partnership with LeBron James, Maverick Carter, and Drake. Since, the sports and entertainment conglomerate has launched several other brands to service: Feature scripted and unscripted films and TV series, branded content, commercial assets, experiential activations, audio properties, media distribution, management consulting, and sponsorship representation.

The Good Karma Co. has won notable awards for its works, including the “TIFF People’s Choice Award” and a “Critic’s Choice Nomination” for Black Ice, and a “VIFF People’s Choice Award” for The Grizzlie Truth. In contrast, The Good Karma Co.’s branded content and advertising work has never been submitted for awards consideration; here, success is defined by exceeding the Client’s mandate.

Expected Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Solicit inbound sales requests, and manage Request for Proposal (RFP) submissions.
  • Solicit and manage, then pitch, outbound sales opportunities across content-oriented properties; pitching may be executed in collaboration with the “Chief Operating Officer” and/or the “Chief Content Officer” (Vinay Virmani).

  • People leadership and development for staff who contribute to the sales function.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • 10+ years of sales, partnership, and/ or business development experience; direct sports and entertainment industry experience, with strong roster of partnership contacts, is an asset.
