Summary Shoemaker Drywall Supplies is Western Canada’s premier supplier of building materials. Our team is made up of dedicated and hardworking individuals who together create a rewarding and welcoming work environment. Our Winnipeg location is looking for a highly motivated customer-focused individual for the position of Inside Sales - Order Desk to work and support our operations team. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers who enter the facility. Manage incoming phone calls, inquiries, and orders. Provide project quotes, enter delivery/special orders, and assist in purchasing. Meet project timelines to anticipate customer needs. Collaborate with Shipping to ensure delivery schedules and instructions are met. Work with outside sales staff to stay current with project work and specialty items. Learn about new building and home improvement materials to increase retail sales. Ensure the facility is clean and stocked. Be an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers at all times. Build strong customer relationships through reliable call backs. Other duties as assigned by management. Skills and Qualifications Customer service experience in fast paced setting required. Building material and home improvement product knowledge an asset. Effective communication skills, verbal, and written English. Excellent computer skills. Previous sales experience would be beneficial. Compensation Salary - $24.00 - $26.00 per hour Competitive benefits package and RRSP match.
