The Opportunity

Our team based in Old Montreal has an immediate opening for an Accounting Technician in the Forensic Accounting Department. You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment where respect, teamwork, and development are valued.

Your responsibilities

• Prepare invoices and statements, monitor client account receivables, advance payments, and update tracking reports;
• Manage transaction tracking for mandates, including file closures and reconciliations;
• Establish and maintain client and mandate records in a CRM system;
• Generate various reports, such as sales reports, percentages, and statistics, for the department leader;
• Handle expense accounts for the department leader;
• Assist the team with financial statement data entry;
• Generate IBIS World reports;
• Monitor the department leader's sales file;
• Conduct various analysis reports;
• Perform any other related tasks.

Your profile

• Diploma in technical accounting or a DEC in accounting (recent graduates are welcome);
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an accounting technician position;
• Ability to work in a hybrid mode;
• Collaborative spirit;
• Attention to detail, thoroughness, proactivity, and autonomy;
• Strong affinity for numbers;
• Proficiency in French and an intermediate level of English to serve clients outside of Quebec;
• Willingness to learn and improve;
• Advanced knowledge of the Office Suite, particularly Excel.
