Business Development Associate

Job Description:

Sysco is seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Development Associate to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue for the company. This role requires a high level of energy, motivation, and drive to succeed in a fast-paced and competitive environment.

Responsibilities: - Research and identify potential clients and markets for business development opportunities - Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers - Develop and implement strategies to meet sales targets and objectives - Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients to showcase our products and services - Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients to secure new business - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of new business initiatives - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market developments to identify potential opportunities for growth

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or sales role - Highly energetic and driven with a strong passion for business development - Excellent presentation and persuasion skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software - Experience working in the food service industry is a plus
