Position Purpose
The Sales Analysis & Administration Manager plays a key role in the development of JTI-Macdonald Corp. market share by supporting the Ontario Region with market insights, budget oversight and assisting with the development of trade programs that optimize return on investment. The incumbent is also responsible for sales and budget forecasting, and inventory control.

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Manage the Ontario Region’s trade and overhead budgets (evaluation, analysis and forecasting) and report to the Canadian Market Finance team.
  • Forecast Regional volume performance and monitor sales volumes versus Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Support the development, implementation and evaluation of trade programs.
  • Assist with the development of annual and strategic plans.
  • Complete retail margin and pricing analysis or scenarios.
  • Act as a liaison between regional sales and various head office departments (Finance, Business Processes, Logistics, IT, People & Culture, Corporate Affairs, Corporate Security and Litigation).
  • Perform database management.
  • Inventory Management
  • Direct reports and Office management

A successful candidate must have:

  • University degree in business management or finance (preferred).
  • Three years’ experience in business or sales analysis or related experience.
  • Advanced knowledge and mastery of Microsoft Office products, including Excel.
  • Excellent presentation and written business communication skills.
  • Organizational skills, self-reliance, excellent time management and priority setting skills, and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple unplanned projects.
  • Strong analytical, planning, thinking and strategic marketing skills, and ability to transform data into actionable strategies.
  • Mastery of Siebel Sales and Analytics, TM1, SAP, MapInfo (RSD tool), Power BI.
  • Team spirit and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, can do attitude and dynamic personality.
