Sales and Training Manager

Our client is an award-winning consumer brand that is revolutionizing their industry. They are a well-known global organization with an incredible culture and an award-winning CEO. They are looking to hire a Sales Training Manager. This leader will play a pivotal role in connecting with global teams, creating core sales materials, and providing strong training and ongoing development to their staff. 

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales training strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives
• Build and lead a team of infield sales trainers spread out across Canada and the US
• Develop strategies and programs to implement sales processes, methodologies, and ongoing training
• Create and implement initiatives to enhance positive customer experiences and satisfaction
• Oversee programs to coach and develop exception sales skills 
• Design and manage volume and performance evaluation processes to drive a high-performance culture using incentives
• Ensuring clear and effective team communication

Requirements

• Must be located in Toronto
• This is a travel heavy role (60%-80% of the position will be on the road, visiting 20+ locations)
• Ability to travel to the US
• 4+ years of experience working within sales training
• Experience leading sales training programs at high-volume, direct to consumer sales teams (call centers, infield services)
• Strong knowledge of sales methodologies and processes
• Ability to work and connect with many teams and stakeholders
• Skilled in implementing training with a past success in a sales background
• Experience building and implementing sales scripts, tooling and metrics
