Job Description - Store Promoter

Company Introduction: T&T Supermarket Inc. was founded in 1993 with two stores in BC. Since then, it has expanded rapidly and is now Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 31 stores across the country: 13 in BC, 7 in Alberta, 10 in Ontario, and 1 in Quebec. The Company’s continuous expansion is going to bring more new stores in the next couple of years.

The Role: Reporting to the Store Administrator,the Store Promoter is responsible for demonstrating and promoting products to customers with an intention to persuade the consumer to buy the productsexecutine the Customer Service Stratepy and achieving the sales targets.

Major Responsibilities: 1. Engage the consumer by generating excitement and brand awareness
2.Dynamically sell product to the customers by positively greeting,presenting and demonstrate the product with a variety of people
3. Achieve assigned sales targets
4. Responsible for the organization and coordination ofthe promoting merchandise
5.Set-uporganize and close work area including cleaning and sanitizing,washing and drying dishes and proper storaee ofequipment
6. Adhere to all Food Safety handling and sanitation training and guidelines
7. Participate and adhere to all safety policiestraining,and practices
8Able to handle customer complaints and establish eood and timely communications with the immediate sunerio and the relevant department head

Other Responsibilities:
1. Leverage product knowledge as a differentiating factor in the service experienceenhance Customer Shopping
Fxnerience and inrease Customer Satisfartion
2.Collect and maintain written and oral product-related feedback from consumers
3 Assist in the execution of snerialevents holiday nroerams and small gift distribution with ourchase
4.Assist other store promoters as required in a team-oriented environment
5. Perform any other related duties as assiened or required

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements: 1. Possess good knowledge on Customer Service
2.Possess good knowledee on Food Safety
3.Sales skills Minimum 1 vear of experience in retaillerocery salesor restaurantor food service highlv desirable
4. Strong verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin/or Cantonese,French
5.Basic cookine skills. able to use products or cook food as appropriate for the demonstration6Ability to soive problems and to dealwith a varietyofvariables
7. Ability to stand comfortably for up to 6hours
8. Must be able to work flexible hours and scheduleincluding weekends/statutory holidays
