Job Description - Territory Sales Manager

Diablo/Freud Tools are the industry-leading manufacturers of premium cutting tools, abrasives and power tool accessories. Diablo/Freud Tools are the only manufacturers of cutting tools in the world that produces their own MicroGrain Carbide with titanium, called TiCo, a high-density combination of titanium and cobalt, and Cermet II, a ceramic and metallic tooth blend for extreme, cool cuts in metal applications. By producing their own carbide and Cermet, Diablo/Freud Tools has the unique ability to design each product to deliver maximum results in specific applications, thereby maximizing the cutting life and performance of the tool. Diablo/Freud’s full line of high-quality tools includes saw blades, reciprocating saw blades, SDS-Plus and SDS-Max hammer drill bits, hole saws, self-feed bits, impact step bits, spade and auger bits, router bits, forstner bits, hole saws, bonded and coated abrasives, shaper cutters and more.

Primary responsibility is to gain 100% market share within your categories, channels and markets and to implement strategic approaches to deliver monthly, quarterly and yearly sales numbers.

  • Effectively develop programs and sales strategies for Key dealers within assigned territory with the purpose to convert, promote and consolidate key categories to Freud / Diablo.
  • Build sustainable territory to achieve assigned goals and metrics outlined by your manager
  • Plan for monthly, quarterly and yearly growth while staying within T&E Budget
  • Responsibilities include scheduling, placing orders, developing presentations, suggested orders, and other duties that contribute to a collaborative approach to growing the territory’s market share and sales volume.
  • Overnight Travel up to 7 Days/month to meet Customers & Develop Territory (as assigned)
  • College/University degree an asset
  • 6+ years of relevant experience managing a territory, partners, and clients in a pressurized environment
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc).
  • Highly effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines Candidate is organized and systematic with managing their workload
  • Power tool/Power tool Accessory knowledge/experience an asset
