We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Brampton office. ***Weekend coverage required along with weekdays*** Responsibilities: Responsible for the protection of people, property, facilities, and information Maintain surveillance of surrounding area and report suspicious activity Strong ability to de-escalate situations and be able to handle individuals that need to be removed from the property Perform detailed and diligent patrols Ability to handle emergency alarms in a quick manner (e.g., Fire Alarms, etc.) Observe and report daily activities and irregularities to appropriate personnel Ensure that all safety and emergency procedures are followed Work with local police service Draft reports Coordinate with internal departments if incase of emergency or an accident Responsible for providing accident reports or video screen to Safety team in case of any accident Assist in carrying out Emergency Response Plans in the event of an actual crisis. Electronically maintain accurate and complete security records Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Must hold and maintain valid applicable Security Guard License and First Aid & CPR Certification Minimum 2 years of G license driving experience required with clean abstract. Minimum of 1 year of tactical security experience in large venue settings in a team environment Valid Use of Force Hand-cuffing Certification would be an asset Excellent interpersonal and communication skills while being alert and detail oriented Ability to exercise vigilance and multitask is required (Ability to prioritize, remain calm and multi-task under pressure in a dynamic environment) Ability to de-escalate and diffuse challenging situations and successfully resolve customer issues in a diplomatic and professional manner Computer/ tech savvy and adapt to new software's quickly Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal English Strong decision-making ability - shows good judgment and confidence Schedule can include: 12 hour shift 8 hour shift Evening shift Morning shift Night shift Weekend availability Benefits Competitive Salary Healthcare Benefit Package Career Growth
