Cloud Architect

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Cloud Solutions Architect. This will be a 6-month contract to start in a hybrid model with 2 days in the office in downtown Toronto. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud architecture, SaaS Applications, and enterprise IT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, integrate, and implement application solutions for businesses in a large and sophisticated systems environment.
• Showcase expertise in designing and delivering multi-platform business application solutions, encompassing both automated and manual processes.
• Demonstrate outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges in system architecture and design.

• Summarize complex and sensitive topics adeptly, ensuring clear communication to senior team members.

• Building Architecture Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, detailing system designs, integration strategies, and implementation plans. Ensure documentation adheres to industry standards and best practices, serving as a valuable resource for project teams and stakeholders.
• Leading IT System Integrations: Take a lead role in orchestrating seamless IT system integrations, collaborating with various teams to ensure interoperability and efficiency. Implement best practices in integration methodologies, leveraging your expertise to drive successful outcomes in complex, multi-platform environments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing, integrating, and implementing application solutions.
• At least 5 years of experience design, integrating and implementing SaaS solutions in an Enterprise environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience defining security patterns.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering complex, multi-platform business application solutions.
• Broad knowledge of IT industry technology trends and directions.
• Experience in defining business strategy, processes, and systems within a single business domain.
• Effective communication and internal consulting skills with a strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to summarize complex topics for communication to senior team members.
