Department Profile:

Public Cloud Foundation Engineering (CFE) is a dynamic and fastpaced area within the Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) division. We are responsible for creating innovative technology solutions for the entire firm allowing business and clientfacing divisions to migrate and operate their applications on public cloud service providers as efficiently as possible. If you are interested in solving complex problems and building sophisticated solutions in a dynamic team environment CFE is the place for you.

Position Description:

The ideal candidate will develop quality software working with public cloud service provider (CSP) infrastructure across different Public Cloud areas and is proficient with various Objectoriented development tools and techniques.

The individual should be experienced with Python and Goland or Terraform development as well as NoSQL databases ideally in a public cloud environment.

Knowledge of Javascript/Typescript is an additional benefit.

Good problemsolving skills and taking ownership of items independently while tracking to closure are also an absolute must.

The candidate will liaise with global teams to understand requirements develop high quality code and deliver projects.

The position requires attention to detail coupled with ownership to ensure the delivery of highquality applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

Handson Development and design of Python and Golang applications

Enhance and integrate the CSP automation framework with inhouse tooling (Azure initially)

Develop tooling & Selfservice capabilities for Public Cloud (Azure/GCP/AWS) and internal users

Integrate automation workflows into CI/CD pipelines

Improve MS developer experience by collaborating with client & infrastructure team

Interface with a global team of application developers and infrastructure engineers

Produce proof of concepts in new areas of development

Investigate production issues

Provide technical support for debugging application failures in production systems

Participate in all aspects of SDLC (analysis design coding testing deployment)

Requirements:

68 years of hands on professional experience using Python Goland Java or JavaScript/TypeScript

2 years of experience with globally dispersed teams that fall across different time zones

Solid understanding of objectoriented design and development

Proficient with database technologies (preferably NoSQL) including modelling testing and performance tuning

Proficient in Linux/Unix environments
