Communications Manager

Are you a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills? Our client is seeking a Communications Manager to join their team in Brampton, ON. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the President and Managing Director to develop and implement internal and external communications strategies. From crafting engaging content to managing digital presence, you'll be instrumental in driving the company's objectives forward.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. With 5+ years of experience and a degree in communications or a related field, you'll be ready to lead communications efforts and tackle challenges head-on. Event planning experience is a plus, as is a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement internal and external strategic communications for the company.
• Provide leadership and consultation to advance the company's strategic priorities through communications.
• Lead the communications strategy planning process, offering strategic direction to leaders.
• Gather content from various sources and create communications for leadership messages, town halls, newsletters, videos, and presentations.
• Identify communication opportunities and liaise with stakeholders.
• Prepare and distribute company media content, including news releases, public statements, website, and social media copy.
• Create social media and communication strategies to enhance the company's digital presence and achieve objectives.
• Collaborate closely with the President and Managing Director to handle communications during crises and emergencies.
• Develop and execute PR strategies, including planning, tactics, and measurements, and oversee all company media and PR events.
• Ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of all data.
• Lead by example to maintain a safe, secure, and enjoyable professional working environment.
