Communications Manager

Job Overview:

Smardt is seeking a Communications Manager to either work remotely or be based at the group’s head office in Dorval, Quebec. Reporting to the Global Marketing Director, the successful applicant will lead global internal and external communications, crafting and executing strategies that enhance the company’s international presence. This is a permanent, full-time position ideal for those with a strong background in B2B marketing, particularly within the HVAC sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage comprehensive internal and external communications strategies to improve global brand recognition and stakeholder engagement.
• Production of media content, including press releases, corporate newsletters, and public communications.
• Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels that aligns with the brand’s identity and values.
• Lead the creation of multimedia content to support various communication needs.
• Handle crisis communications and provide rapid responses when necessary.
• Measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and adjust plans based on analytics and feedback.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in communication roles, ideally with a focus on B2B marketing; experience in the HVAC industry a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French is advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage both internal and external communications effectively.
• Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong project management skills, capable of leading multiple initiatives in a dynamic, international environment.
