Your new company
A leading Calgary commercial Real Estate company, with a well tenured and friendly Accounting & Finance team, have an immediate need for a fixed term contract Controller for 14 months. Potential to extend, but no guarantees.  Your new role
Working closely with the CFO and the rest of the senior leadership team, you will manage and oversee all accounting operations, review and analyze monthly financials package provided by the management companies, cashflow management, prepare and publish monthly, quarterly & annual financial statements, liaise with external auditors and act as a change agent - evaluating the current processes and procedures of the accounting team, developing process efficiency improvements, championing and implementing these improvements among the team and organization. What you'll need to succeed

• CPA designation;
• Thorough knowledge ASPE and RealPac;
• 5-10 years relevant experience in real estate industry with strong technical accounting and finance knowledge
• Exceptional financial analysis capabilities
