Role: CTO Industry: Energy Storage & Trading Location: Kitchener, Canada Salary: $350,000-$500,000 + This is an amazing opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving the technological direction, software technology platform development, and artificial intelligence (AI) integration used to build leading edge software platforms used for energy solution digitalization, system performance analytics and grid energy management systems. You will build and lead the software and controls engineering team in designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions that optimize energy digitalization and management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software technology development, controls engineering in the related field of software-based energy management systems, distributed computing, and strategic technology leadership. You will be responsible for leading the software engineering organization, driving technical innovation, and ensuring the successful delivery of related products and solutions. Required Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proven track record of leadership in growing and leading engineering organizations, ideally within the energy management or related industry.
• Extensive experience in product innovation, including the invention and development of successful technology platforms or products.
• Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale projects to customers on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Passion for technology innovation and a deep understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics within the energy management domain.
• Have domain experience with software controls for utility scale photovoltaic or battery energy storage systems
