We are seeking a Fast API Developer with at least 5 years' experience in large enterprise environments. As a Fast API developer, you'll have a combination of maintenance and development experience and be working with a diverse portfolio of technologies while contributing to several projects. As part of a larger team, you will work with and learn from our experienced and hardworking developers and architects and have numerous opportunities to use your expertise to become a key part of large client engagements. Your future duties and responsibilities
• Build business automations such as process scripting, data modelling, architecture, and analysis.
• Support, maintain, and enhance the SMS Web-based tools and automations. Leverage web-based applications to build and enable other automations within supply management.
• Support, maintain, and build SMS datasets so that they are accurate and easily accessible by the end user.
• Participate in requirements analysis; help design solutions based on the system requirements
• Monitor the health, reliability, and performance of implemented solutions, detecting issues quickly and driving quality improvement over time
• Effectively collaborate with the business and development teams to understand and support stakeholders in establishing and achieving the goals
• Participate as a member of a project team to develop innovative, high-quality solutions
• Support integrations of the solutions into production environments, and provide production support post handoff
• Document system design and operational procedures. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in development experience in Fast API and Python
• Proficient in Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI
• Familiar with CI/CD (Git, Azure DevOps), VS Code/Pro
• Experience in RStudio, Python and JavaScript.
• Familiar with FastAPI framework – building RESTful APIs (in python preferred), standard libraries/packages
• Familiar with Relational Databases and SQL
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Strong Communication (written and verbal)
• Ability to adhere to and enforce processes, standards, and controls on security, change management and transition to production
• Knowledge of Oil and Gas Operations nice to have
• Preference given to knowledge of supply management and supply management workflows
• Outstanding problem-solving skills with a proactive approach toward projects
