Facilities Technician

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000/year + benefits

About the Company:

Our client is a clinical-stage oncology company focused on developing next-generation radiopharmaceuticals as precision medicines. They are growing at a rapid rate and are seeking to add a Facilities Technician to their dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintenance and repair of facilities mechanical systems including air compressors, steam boilers, RO Water Treatment. HVAC, Valves, Pumps, Exhaust Fans
• Assist with building preventative maintenance routine inspections
• Inspect eye wash stations and deluge showers for compliance
• Assist with minor building repairs i.e. patch, paint, wall mounts etc.
• Assist in maintaining fire life systems
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Technical diploma in mechanical, HVAC or relevant technical stream with a minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance within a pharmaceutical, food plant, or similar GMP setting
• Must be willing to work overtime and on call when required
• Must have an understanding of SOP’s, GMP practices in food or pharma industry
• Knowledge of tools and tool safety, ESA, building codes and TSSA regulations
• Knowledge and good understanding of BAS and CMMS maintenance systems
• Knowledge of fire life systems and fire code compliance
