Jr. Software Developer

Sencia Canada Ltd. is seeking a Jr.  Developer who will join our team.  They will be responsible for the support and development of the Informetica Enterprise Learning Management System (LMS).  Sencia services clients in industries such as mining, hydro transmission, nuclear, engineering, pharma, airlines, manufacturing and various associations.  Quality and assurance practices follow a structured process to ensure all projects meet deadlines and follow cyber security requirements of our clients.  The position includes being part of a team who write technical documentation and meet with our client’s Administrators or Project Managers to develop various strategies including migration planning, integration, configurations, and custom development.

Two years of experience working in software development and web application including.:

ASP.NET MVC Framework
Languages: C#, ASP Classic, T-SQL, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS
Microsoft SQL Server
Microsoft Visual Studio
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc)
Job Requirements:

·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

·Self-starter who can work independently as well as in a team environment.

·Prioritizing tasks and excellent organizational skills.

·Great oral and written communication skills.  Must be able to
communicate with peers and clients alike.

All technical team members must follow policies and procedures to ensure the environment(s) are maintained in a viable state of operability and recoverability at all times, as well as ensuring that all systems and operational functions have been performed with high service standards.
Assist with Quality Assurance assessments as required.
Assist client management team with planning and support of technology initiatives as required.
