The MINT Team:

Position Overview:

KORE Software is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Junior Database Developer to join our MINT team, focusing on database migration projects across Salesforce and Dynamics365. This role is ideal for individuals with foundational knowledge in SQL, ETL processes, and a keen interest in data integration and migration. As part of our Professional Services department, you'll have the opportunity to grow and contribute to key commercial and analytics platform implementations for sports and media organizations.

We understand that you may not have experience with SSIS. However, if you are truly interested in this position, we strongly advise completing a course on SSIS from platforms like Udemy or Coursera. This will greatly help you during the interview process and enhance your ability to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle SSIS database migration projects, ensuring data integrity and seamless integration.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather requirements, understand their database structures, and provide regular project status updates.
• Investigate and analyze database structures to understand and optimize migration processes.
• Demonstrate a keen interest and eagerness to learn CRM systems like Dynamics365 or Salesforce.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and a desire to understand and deep dive into the inner logic of databases and client needs.
• Engage in continuous learning to take ownership of tasks and projects, ensuring timely and on-budget completion.
• Collaborate with internal KORE teams and clients to define, plan, and deliver migration projects efficiently.
• Contribute to technical consulting, offering solutions and improvements to our migration processes.
• Maintain and manage SQL databases, perform backups, and ensure the security and reliability of data.
• Work with ETL processes, particularly using SSIS, to support data integration and transformation needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Diploma in Computer Science or related field, or completed with proven courses or certifications in SSIS and T-SQL.
• Academic background or certification in relational databases (MS SQL).
• Passion for working with databases and data.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development principles and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Skills that Will Greatly Contribute to Hiring Decisions:

• Experience with ETL tools, especially SSIS, or completed courses on platforms like Udemy or Coursera about SSIS and SQL.
• Interest and curiosity about CRM platforms like Dynamics CRM or Salesforce, with completed courses in these areas being advantageous.
• Experience with C# and .NET programming.
• Exposure to AWS cloud services with completed courses in these areas.
