Paint Processor Operator- Full- Time- Multiple Shifts Job Function Manufacturing Operator Reports to Production Supervisor Shift Dayshift/ Afternoon shift Job Purpose The main purpose of the Manufacturing Operator is: Accountable for all aspects of the filling of production batches to within specification following all procedures and practices to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment while maintaining Quality standards Job Responsibilities Compliance: Perform all duties according to S O P's, G M P's and all other established safety standards and company policies Correctly complete all documentation as per S O P's and G M P requirements, i.e., observations, test results, batch record information, etc. Notify management in the event of a departure from procedure, product defect, safety incident or other serious problem Productivity and Operational Excellence: Dismantle, clean, sanitize and assemble processing equipment according to established S O Ps to ensure hygiene compliance Safely operate all required equipment and machinery including those used to manufacture, store, clean and transport production related assets Execute applicable S A P transactions accurately and in a timely manner Effectively process batches within specifications to meet department batch execution targets by ensuring optimal cycle times in support of schedule adherence Complete daily administrative tasks and in a timely manner Ensure the proper selection, care and use of tools, parts and equipment while performing all job related duties Escalate manufacturing related issues to the appropriate support groups ( Q A, Process, Maintenance, Operations) and help in the resolution and 5 why analysis Recommend and actively support the implementation of process improvement opportunities Assist in incident investigations and root cause analysis of F R B batches Maintain 5 S standards Previous Forklift experience required and must have a valid forklift license Teamwork: Actively seeks and accepts positive and constructive feedback from colleagues Works effectively with team members in support of team and department goals Actively embraces cross training initiatives across departments Communicates effectively both verbally and written Perform any related duties as assigned Actively contributes in team meetings and other team-related activities Person Profile & Skills Good time management skills and ability to prioritize Team focused Sense of urgency Sense of respect and integrity for self and team Ability to manage through difficult and stressful situations Ability to work on multiple priorities at the same time Ability to stand, walk, and sit. Routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without mechanical assistance. Detail-oriented with an eye for quality and accuracy Collaborative with strong interpersonal skills Qualificatons Grade 12 diploma or relevant experience, industrial experience, mechanical abilities, good knowledge of measuring tools and plastic extrusion is an asset.
