Construction  Millwright $35-45.00 Hourly

T he  ideal candidate will  be com fortable  with  machinery installation,  maintenance, service and repair  on grain storage and handling systems in various settings including  commerc ial and on-farm clients .

W hat we offer:

• Competitive Salary  starting at 35 .00 to 45 .00hourly .
• Full-time Monday to Friday hours with positive working environment. Some shift work and on-call required.

What you do:

• Coach and instruct apprentices.
• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions. 
• Repair or replace defective machinery parts. 
• Supervise other workers. 
• Fabricate parts required during overhaul,  maintenance or set-up. 
• Estimate costs and materials. 
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery. 
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps,  drawings and specifications. 
• Assembling machinery and equipment (prior to installation). 
• Installing machinery and equipment. 
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment. 

Who You Are:

• 3-5  years’ experience with a Construction Millwright Trade Certification. 
• Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement. 
• MS Office  and Computer knowledge
• Welder Trade Certification/Canadian Welding Bureau Certification – Techniques required; OAW, FCAW, GTAW, TIG, GMAW, SMAW
• Fall Arrest Protection &  Hoisting and Rigging Training. 
• Forklift Operator  Certification & (WHMIS) Certificate. 
• You have attention to detail and are good with tight deadlines.
• Able to provide a driving record check (abstract).
• Effective time management ,  communication and organization skills.
• Ability to work independently , as a  team  player and  build and maintain rapport with customers.
