Job Description

Trinnex, a wholly owned subsidiary of CDM Smith, is seeking a MLOps Engineer with experience in AI, MLOps, and cloud computing. Our platform serves as the basis for advanced data analytics, leveraging GCP, Bigquery, and sophisticated ML/AI training. As a MLOps Engineer, you'll work with the Data Science team to design and build AI solutions using GCP and custom tools and work with internal Engineering teams to deploy and operationalize AI.

**This role offers a hybrid work option with the individual required to be in the office at least 2 days a week.

Responsibilities will include:

• Build and deploy AI/ML solutions on GCP.
• Adapting and adding to ML model code so that it can run on GCP.
• Developing model automation in GCP, deploying the automation, monitoring the automation and the model’s performance over time.
• Working with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to document end to end ML process.
• Using your skills in AI, MLOps, ML engineering, DevOps, Kubernetes, and orchestration to deploy serverless solutions.
• Creating microservices for task-specific AI cloud services.
• Improving service reliability, observability, developing UI and APIs to improve automation and visibility.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of ML/DL training and inferencing concepts.
• Experience with AI/MLOps in cloud computing environments including GCP.
• Experience operationalizing AI and Machine Learning in GCP and Vertex AI.
• Experience with virtualization and cluster management tools, including Docker/Containers, Kubernetes.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a wide-ranging environment.
• Professional written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
• Good interpersonal skills with a strong desire to share knowledge with clients, partners, and co-workers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3 years of relevant experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.

Preferred Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science preferred.
• Strong coding and debugging skills, including experience with Python, Go, TypeScript.
• Experience with AI frameworks and tools on GCP.
