Production Supervisor

fulfill daily just-in-time & planned production orders. 
Submit purchase requisitions for inventory raw material and production supplies.

Schedule assembly and ensure orders are completed as per due date for both morning and evening shifts.

Assign daily tasks and target to machine/assembly operators.

Validate quality by checking tolerances and ensuring product is being produced according to drawings.

Train and support new operators.

Schedule and maintain production schedule for blanket, discreet & intercompany orders.

Actively monitor inventory and utilize materials when possible.

Troubleshoot machines during production and schedule maintenance for all the machines to avoid downtime.

Coordinate in bound and out bound material when required. 

Arranging trucks for shipments when required.

Support shipper/ receiver with organizing stock material.

Act as the point of contact for administration and provide updates when required.

Support the manufacturing department when required.

Accomplish manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.

Help maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, developing personal growth opportunities.

Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.

Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.

Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing production standards.

Provide manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, and answering questions and responding to requests.

Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements, implementing change.
