QA Developer

Our Client is seeking a QA Automation Developer to support a data integration project aimed to re-design and implement several reporting data marts, with conformed dimensions, containing court data into an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and a set of dependent views. The position will be responsible for performing technical strategic functions, ensuring the architecture supports, data analytics and reporting needs. Additionally, this role may support application of the Data Fabric architecture, data quality, data standards, and best practices to development as needed.

While this role is remote, work must be done from within Canada during regular business hours, due to network and data security issues. Must be Canadian Citizen to apply.

• Proposed resource must meet or exceed one of the following: University graduation: Computer Science(CS), Computer Engineering (CE), Information Technology (IT) or related discipline & 4yr related experience; OR 2yr diploma: CS, CE, IT or related discipline & 6yr related experience; OR 1yr certificate: CS, CE, IT or related discipline & 7yr related experience; OR current active professional certification or accreditation in related discipline from a recognized issuing body & 7yr related experience.

• Proposed resource has agreed to an Enhanced Security Check upon contract award. Must have the last 3 years continuous residency in either Canada or United States as minimum.

• Experience and understanding of software quality assurance QA, Testing and Defect Lifecycle. (6+ years)

• Experience working as an Application Developer within a large and complex enterprise IT environment. (6+ years)

• Experience working directly with clients, and coordinating with both external stakeholders and internal business areas to ensure communications are relayed to all parties. (5+ years)

• Professional qualification in Test Management (e.g., ISTQB or QAI certification)

• Experience in Agile Projects (4+ years)

• Experience providing leadership, planning, estimating, and presentations of ideas and solutions.(2+ years)

• Experience with automated unit testing and integration testing.(3+ years)

• Experience with cloud computing or big data platforms and infrastructure (2+ years)

• Experience with user acceptance testing including creation of user acceptance plan, status reporting, and managing assigned tasks. (2+ years)
