Product Manager/Engineer/Developer

Our client is a leading Online Platform for Global Work, Volunteer and Travel Abroad programs and they are looking to add a Product Manager/Engineer/Developer (Mid or Senior Level Product Minded Drupal Engineer). You would ideally spend ~60% of your time on engineering / ~40% of your time on product management. Your Role: As the Product Engineer (Product Minded Drupal Engineer) you will be tasked to lead and own the following:

1. Ensure the website site is functional, efficient, operational, & meets product quality needs at all times
   1. Monitor site performance metrics: Core metrics, Google Web Vitals, and accessibility
   2. Deploy new code and functionality (CircleCI / Github)
   3. Maintain relationship with our server provider (Pantheon)
   4. Monitor & resolve site logs for errors
   5. Keep our CMS (Drupal) updated & secure
   6. Maintain our DNS & Domain records (Cloudflare / GoDaddy)
   7. Maintain our content search functionality (ElasticSearch)
   8. Ensure that critical business systems are working correctly (i.e. client click tracking & payment systems, etc.)
   9. Oversees, builds, and maintains Google Analytics dashboards
   10. Supports our internal team tools and systems (i.e. email systems for providers and community communication, Asana / task management, Hubspot API Integration, etc.)
   11. Fixes bugs and builds out feature requests

 

1. Maintains & grows our technical SEO advantage
   1. Ensure proper indexation (pagination, canonicalization, duplicate content, etc.)
   2. Rich snippets
   3. Page rendering
   4. Proper linking implementations, particularly paid external links

 

1. Project Manages Dev & SEO-related work, as needed
   1. Plans & develops cross-functional projects
   2. Serves as technical project manager for more complex projects
   3. Monitors project progress & sets deadlines
   4. Solves issues that arise
   5. Evaluates project performance
   6. Manages and/or collaborates with external contractors (i.e. Sr level developers, designers, SEO consultants)

 

1. Leads and develops product to influence revenue generation & business development

1. Continually optimizes product experience
2. Analyzes, synthesizes, and automates data to help inform decision making
3. Works with a cross-functional team to determine product business models
4. Routinely performs market research and stays informed regarding latest industry trends and technology to help develop & suggest new products and features to meet user needs
5. Joins some key client meetings and other key stakeholders to identify new strategies and opportunities for satisfying needs and delivering more value via expansions or new products
6. Leads new product experiments with AI technology to suit new user behavior and search trends
