Volunteer Supervisor Location North Bay and District Humane Society :

Outreach and Volunteer Services Supervisor (Part-Time)

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Outreach and Volunteer Services Supervisor oversees the organization, recruitment, training, scheduling and retention of North Bay Humane Society volunteers as well as the delivery of informational and educational presentations to local stakeholders.This position is funded in part by the Community Services Recovery Fund.

• Collects and reports volunteer data
• Identifies volunteer opportunities within

shelter and Humane Society operations

• Develops volunteer s
• Schedules volunteers for shifts
• Manages email communications to

volunteers

• Celebrates and recognizes volunteer

achievements during Volunteer Week

• Gives informational and educational

presentations to key stakeholders

• Supports Manager of Fundraising with

all social and recognition activities

• Schedules volunteer meetings,

attending to take minutes and distribute accordingly

• Support volunteer program for

accreditation

• Assist Manager of Fundraising in

developing social media content

Compensation

Wage is $18.50/hr plus 4% in lieu of vacation.
