Counterbalance - Propane and Electric Forklift Operators - Afternoon Shifts

Drake International is hiring  Certified and Experienced  Propane and Electric Counterbalance Forklift Operators for our warehousing client in the Brampton area.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Location: Brampton, ON 
• Pay rate: $ 24 /hr. depending on experience 
• Shifts: Afternoons (3:30 pm to Midnight) 

WHAT YOU DO: ? 

• Operate a Propane and Electric Counterbalance Forklift  in according to instructions provided. 
• Ensure safety measures are always followed while operating both manual and mechanical functions. 
• Loading of materials and merchandise onto the trailers. 
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment. 
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies. 
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance. 
• Perform general labor duties where necessary. 
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs. 
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines. 
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities. 

? WHO ARE YOU: ? 

• You have at least 3 years of experience on operation of Propane and Electric Counterbalance
• Must  have a Valid certification to operate Forklift – Propane and Electric Counterbalance
• Must have experience in Loading of materials and merchandise onto the trailers. 
• Must have experience using?Material handling equipment (MHE)
• Must be able to work a very fast paced environment.  
• Must have attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment. 
• Excellent physical condition and coordination 
• Must have excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. 
• Must have good interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills. 
• Must be able to lift to 60Ibs. 
• Must have a  High school diploma 
• Must have a clear Crim check.
