Courier Delivery Driver

NovaXpress is a fast growing courier business having a significant presence in logistics and warehousing in HRM area. We have in business since 2019 and have projects going on for government as well as private players across the length and breadth of Canada.

We are currently hiring for our upcoming project with FedEx Ground.

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Courier Driver to join our dynamic team. As a Courier Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of packages to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceptional driving skills, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to deliver packages to designated locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.
• Load and unload packages with care, ensuring the secure transport of items.
• Provide excellent customer service during package deliveries and address any customer inquiries or concerns professionally.
• Utilize technology and GPS systems to optimize delivery routes and provide real-time updates.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery records.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a courier driver for a minimum of two years.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent knowledge of local routes and geography.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry packages of varying sizes and weights.
• Familiarity with delivery tracking systems and mobile apps.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
