ETL Developer -

HM Note: This hybrid role is three (3) days in office

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the design and configuration of the cloud infrastructure to optimally support IDMC.
• Mentor and support our ETL developers in their transition to IDMC.
• Help with the ETL code conversion from legacy Informatica PowerCenter to IDMC;
• Help with ETL processes optimization and propose and implement technical solutions whenever Powercenter code is not supported in IDMC;
• Be the main support point for any issues faced by the team which requires advanced IDMC knowledge.
• Provide knowledge transfer to other team members as needed.

Skills

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Informatica (10+ years) and AWS (5+ years) experience: 50 points

· Design, build and tune ETL/ELT solutions on-premises (Informatica Powercenter) and on-cloud (Informatica IDMC).

· Informatica transformations, mappings and workflows.

· Migrate ETL workloads form on-premises to public cloud (AWS).

· Scripting languages (Python, Linux shell).

· ETL processes automation and orchestration

· AWS services (S3, Athena, Lambda, Glue, AppFlow, Step Functions, CloudWatch etc).

Database/Data warehouse (10+ years): 30 points

· Relational database design and optimization experience.

· Security controls to safeguard sensitive data (PI and PHI).

· Query tunning.

· Dimensional data modelling for data warehousing.

· Advanced SQL and PLSQL (or equivalent).

General Skills: 15 points

· Leadership skills with ability to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.

· Exceptional analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.

· Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.

· Proven troubleshooting and critical thinking experience.

Public Sector/Healthcare Experience: 5 points

· Knowledge of Public Sector Enterprise Architecture artifacts (or similar), processes and practices, and ability to produce technical documentation that comply with industry standard practices.

· Knowledge of industry standard such as Project Management Institute (PMI) and Public Sector I&IT project management methodologies.

· Knowledge and understanding of Ministry policy and IT project approval processes and requirements.

· Experience with large complex IT Health-related projects.

Must haves:

Nice to Have:
