Forklift Operator

• Pay rate: $19.65/hour.

• Location: Belleville ON

• Availability Required: Monday-Friday - MAD rotation.

• Job type: Temporary possibly Permanent with good performance

Responsibilities:

• Using material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks, transport skids of material from the manufacturing floor to the warehousing department.

• Perform required safety checks on material handling equipment prior to use.

• Verify incoming and outgoing material.

• Support the shipping and receiving department.

• Using relevant computer systems, update records for tracking product movement and inventory.

• Label and scan product for shipping/receiving and inventory purposes.

• Ensure that product is stored appropriately, safely, and labelled correctly.

• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment.

• Must have extensive forklift experience.

• Knowledge of shipping process in "SAP".

• Will require a level 3 lift truck license.

Requirements:

• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

• Must have valid level 3 forklift license.

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a warehousing capacity.

• Must have experience using computer-based systems relevant to shipping/receiving and warehousing.

• Must be able to provide proof of forklift experience in the form of work references.

• Ability to pass a criminal background check if selected.

• Must be available to work Monday through Friday day shifts with possible weekends if needed.

• Must have excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Comfortable lifting 50 lbs. as needed and meeting the physical demands of the position to include climbing in and out of forklifts, walking for extended periods, and bending and crouching as needed.
