What you will do:

 

• Plan and coordinate the proper warehousing of product 

• Check for damaged articles, quality and quantity and record quantities received and reports to manager/supervisor with regards to damaged items and shortages 

• Operate and service equipment used in the movement of farm supplies 

• Operate by industry regulations in the handling and storage of farm supplies and compete related documentation 

• Draw farm supplies from warehouse stock to fill customer orders 

• Make deliveries or assist with the co-ordination of shipment with the transportation organization 

• Assist in the identification of blending opportunities

• Complete farm supply shipping documentation

• Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of a positive image program at the branch 

• Keep the manager informed of levels of existing stock 

• Keep facilities and grounds clean and tidy, well maintained, and free of fire hazards 

• Carry out a regular preventative maintenance program and conduct minor repairs 

• Maintain stock control records 

 

What you will bring:

 

• 1+ year(s) operational experience preferred with demonstrated equipment operations and maintenance skills 

• Valid driver’s license, preference may be given to candidates with a 3A or 1A
