The Rural Municipality of Edenwold No. 158 is a rural municipality that provides municipal government services to approximately 4,490 people. There are approximately 849 km2 of land within the municipal boundary. Some services provided by the municipality include recreation, transportation and road maintenance, public utilities (water and wastewater), planning & development, and bylaw enforcement. As an Administrative Assistant, you will assist the RM office in meeting municipal goals. You will work on special projects that improve quality-of-life for residents and support the municipality as it strives to be progressive, supportive, and collaborative. Some of your tasks might include: Assisting the Public Works & Engineering Department in managing municipal assets and systems; Performing general administrative duties (including answering telephone inquiries, arranging appointments, scheduling meetings, recording and preparing minutes, word processing, data entry, mail distribution, filing and scanning, etc.); Accepting and reviewing special event applications, move-in and move-out applications, and other administrative forms and applications; and Acting as a liaison between the municipality and the public.
