Student Health Interns (IGA)
10 Positions
Summer Work placement (July-August)
Approximately 8 Weeks
Location: Labrador Grenfell Region

About the Role

Labrador- Grenfell zone is seeking Student Health Interns to participate in Health-related projects for a summer work placement.

Qualifications:

" Applicants will have successfully completed a minimum of a two-year post-secondary education program. Applicants who are currently enrolled in a recognized educational institution will also be considered.
" Ability to work both collaboratively and with a high degree of independence and initiative.
" Excellent written and oral communication skills.
" Proficiency in Microsoft suite programs - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Database/Access etc;
" The successful applicant will be required to submit a Satisfactory Code of Conduct.

Duties: (Included but not limited to)

" Health-related research projects.
" Pamphlet/Leaflet Development.
" Policy and planning development.
" Organization of information on the Shared Drive.
" Review, organize, scan and produce education resource materials.
" Plan/promote upcoming events.
" Updating and organizing department web pages.
" Revising electronic forms.
" Survey development for educational programs.
" Develop survey for Research purposes.
" Contact clients scheduled for Virtual visits for trial run and trouble shooting.
" Other related duties as required.

Salary:

" $20.00/hour.

Hours of Work:

" 75 hours Bi-weekly; Monday to Friday
