Position Overview: As a Warehouse Shipper & Receiver, you will play a vital role in the efficient and accurate management of incoming and outgoing shipments. Your primary responsibility will be handling documentation, organization of products, ensuring that they are processed, stored, and delivered according to TEChnical Building Products standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment, and have a strong work ethic. While experience operating a forklift is an asset, if you do not have experience we will train the successful candidate, and provide a forklift certification if you do not possess one.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Inspecting Shipments: Receive incoming shipments, inspect them for damages or discrepancies, and verify their accuracy against purchase orders, delivery notes, and other relevant documents. Document any discrepancies and communicate with the appropriate personnel for resolution.

Inventory Management: Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies. Ensure proper stock rotation and storage practices to optimize space utilization.

Picking & Packing: Efficiently pick and pack orders according to provided packing lists and work orders. Prepare shipments by properly packaging products to prevent damage during transit.

Shipping: Organize outgoing shipments, prepare shipping labels, and coordinate with various carriers and freight companies to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Complete all necessary shipping documentation, such as bills of lading and customs forms.

Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet company standards. Report any quality issues or concerns to the relevant departments.

Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and shrink-wrapping machines, in a safe and efficient manner. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.

Team Player: Collaborate with fellow team members, including warehouse associates, supervisors, and other departments, to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any logistical challenges.

Qualification & Skills

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and order processing.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

· Proficient in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.

· Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and moving heavy objects.

· Strong communication skills to interact with team members and external contacts.

· Commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse space.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
