Job Summary

The RBC Global Asset Management Marketing & Community Engagement Intern offers an unparalleled opportunity for an undergraduate student to gain experience within corporate citizenship & marketing within Global Asset Management industry in Canada. In this role, the student will work with the Marketing & Community Engagement team to support the implementation and execution of some of RBC GAM’s community engagement/investments partners.

Job Description

What will you do?

  • Help to plan and activate GAM’s strategic community investments, including project management and event execution

  • Support the RBC GAM Employee Community Engagement Program, including participating in volunteering activities

  • Participate in ongoing  meetings with our community engagement/investments partners, to gain a better understanding of our work and partnerships

  • Contribute to all parts of the Marketing & Community Engagement team’s activities.

Must-have:

  • Desire to learn and eagerness to make a meaningful contribution to the team environment at RBC Global Asset Management

  • Track record of outstanding academic achievement

  • Exceptional communication skills (oral and written)

  • Ability to operate as a key contributor in a team-based environment

  • Collaborative, team player Nice-to-have:

  • Past experience volunteering within the charitable sector

  • Curious about GAM and corporate citizenship

Please note: This posting is for a 4-months Fall 2024 Student placement with a start date of September 2024, and end date of December 2024. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either:

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of December 2024 ; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in December 2024), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
