Architectural Intern

Role description: Our office in Vancouver is looking for a recent graduate to join our Living+ Team. In this role, you will be a part of the design team for a very well-established Architecture group. This position would start right away and last 4-8 months depending on availability. 

Role accountabilities:

• Work under the direct supervision of a senior staff member(s) or a partner 
• Work on various stages of current High-rise / Mid-rise Residential or living + & mixed-use projects 
• Assist with putting together presentations materials for Clients 
• Assist with the preparation of Construction Drawings, Working Drawings, Coordination, Construction Detailing 

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience working on Schematic, Design Working Drawing and Construction drawing sets is ideal.
• Knowledge of REVIT within a workplace setting.
• Knowledge of various drawing software (AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion).
• Ability to interpret and apply the VBBL and BCBC.
• May participate in site visits to the various locations to document and verify measurements
• Ability to take initiative, work in a fast-paced environment and have effective time-management skills a must.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
