What you’ll be doing
Personal and Business Banking includes CIBC’s Banking Centres, Business Banking, Mobile Advice, Personal Banking Products and Strategy and Transformation. This is a relationship driven team, delivering value to stakeholders, and is focused on achieving CIBC’s core purpose: to make our client’s ambitions a reality. Business Banking in Canada includes the strategic development, implementation and integration of activities (including delivery network, specialized industries, business banking solutions, segment strategy, deposits and lending practices) across all functional areas.
This role serves as the voice of Business Banking, representing the needs of our clients and frontline teams across enterprise initiatives. The incumbent will partner closely with frontline, Product, Operations, Risk, AML, Compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure that enterprise products and procedures effectively support Business Banking growth and deliver a seamless client and employee experience. The role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on problem-solving, driving tangible process improvements that support client growth and employee efficiency.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role you’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 2-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
How you’ll succeed
Helping with Analytics and Reporting: Help build and maintain dashboards and reports that show how the business is performing. Support the team in analyzing client portfolios and identifying opportunities for growth.
Process Improvement: Work with different teams to review current processes and suggest improvements using digital tools and data insights. Participate in meetings to understand challenges and brainstorm solutions.
Sales Support: Work alongside sales leaders to help design simple analytics or AI-based tools that make it easier to manage client accounts and plan business activities.
Project Assistance: Help organize and track small projects, including setting up meetings, taking notes, and following up on action items to make sure everyone stays aligned.
Learning and Innovation: Stay updated on new AI and analytics technologies, share ideas on how they might be used in Business Banking, and contribute to a culture of learning and improvement.
Presentation Development: Develop impactful presentation decks for leaders and business partners, effectively communicating key insights and strategic recommendations to support informed decision-making
