Who You Are

We are inviting applications for a competent team player with a strong social and relationship-building aptitude to perform landscaping, lawn and building maintenance and assist facilities personnel.

Qualification Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a college/university program and will be attending full-time at the end of the work term


• Must hold a valid Class “G” driver’s licence


• Successful candidates must have a driver’s abstract with no demerit points or active fine suspensions and may require a satisfactory driving evaluation at the start of employment


• Must drive Enova fleet vehicles including vehicles with trailers. Education and practice will be provided to develop this ability.


• Ability to work outdoors


• Ability to work with power equipment including power tools and landscape equipment


• Ability to work alone or with little supervision


• Ability to complete physical work including lifting/lowering, pushing/pulling, stooping/bending, and using hand tools


• Candidates must be able to lift/lower 50 lbs safely


• Good verbal communication skills are a necessity

 Primary Responsibilities

• Work with a crew if an extra person is required to work as a traffic control person or be a general labourer


• Perform janitorial duties as assigned


• Any combination of grass cutting, trimming, pulling weeds, landscape repair


• Recording work performed as well as any deficient site conditions requiring notification to a supervisor


• Loading and unloading equipment from truck and trailer


• Perform other tasks such as sweeping, painting, and maintenance duties as required


• Communicate regularly with supervisors
