About the Role We’re looking for a Digital Marketing & Content Operations Co-Op Student to join our Marketing team. This position will be reporting to the Manager, Growth Marketing, and is for the September 2026 - December 2026 co-op term.
What You’ll Do
Support the scheduling, setup, and testing of email campaigns, as well as assisting with quality assurance such as link checking, formatting reviews, and audience verification.
Support content SEO initiatives by auditing website images, drafting descriptive alt text, and maintaining image metadata to improve accessibility and organic search performance.
Support the creative content manager by drafting, editing and preparing long-form content for publication, including blog posts, customer stories and thought leadership pieces.
Assist with customer communication content, creative briefs and scheduling social media posts.
Assist in developing and documenting processes for collecting customer feedback, referrals, and advocacy content.
Support the execution of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns, including email marketing, direct mail and gifting initiatives, while assisting as needed with sourcing materials and hardware, coordinating mailer logistics and shipment tracking, assembling Canadian mailers, and preparing materials for on-site events and shows.
You’ll Also Work on the Following Projects:
Own a project to audit, organize, and improve our marketing content and customer evidence repository in Guru, making it easier for teams across the business to discover and leverage existing assets. (approximately 4 months to complete)
Partner with the Digital Marketing Manager and Creative Content Manager to launch industry-specific prospect email campaigns, including content research, audience segmentation, campaign setup, and the creation of a documented process to enable ongoing execution by future team members. (approximately 4 months to complete)
What You Bring
Current enrollment in a post-secondary program with a Canadian institution in Business, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field
Clear and concise communication skills with the ability to convey ideas effectively in both written and verbal form
Understanding of fundamental marketing concepts such as digital marketing, content marketing, customer journey mapping, audience segmentation, and campaign execution
Hands-on experience executing digital marketing and content initiatives (including email campaigns, social media, website updates, SEO, and digital advertising) alongside creating and managing content across blogs, websites, newsletters, and social channels.
Experience with CRM or customer service platforms (Salesforce, Planhat, etc.), email marketing software (Pardot, Sales Engagement), project management tools, or knowledge management platforms (Guru) are considered assets
Experience with digital productivity tools (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or similar)
Active listening skills, demonstrating attention to stakeholder needs, the ability to ask clarifying questions, and confirm understanding before acting
The ability to build relationships across different business functions and show a team-oriented attitude
Proactive communication and willingness to flag issues early, provide regular progress updates, and the confidence to escalate blockers without prompting
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
Compensation: $21.67 – $31.53 CAD per hour (as determined by work term)
This role requires working onsite in our Cambridge office (96 Grand Ave S Unit 101, Cambridge, ON N1S 2L9) two days per week.
