CPG Marketing (Intern)

Looking for self-driven, motivated, organized, and collaborative engineers looking to get exposure to IC applications engineering addressing the latest generation of high-speed data center and ML/AI interconnects.

The newly formed Product Applications Engineering Team at Alphawave supports customer design-ins of Alphawave connectivity products used by the world’s leading cloud service providers and their vendors. The team generates design collaterals for existing and new products, provides technical guidance to customers to overcome design challenges, and drive innovation by providing insightful feedback to internal design and manufacturing teams to continuously improve products and processes.

Due to the wide range of technical issues Applications engineers are exposed to, there are many paths to further one's career in customer facing and/or engineering roles.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple initiatives aimed at enabling customers to design in our products, including:

• Testing customer HW use cases of our products in the lab. Defining, setting up, and running test benches.
• Developing SW to enable different customer applications including GUIs, and product control scripts.
• Writing Application Notes, Hardware, and Software User Guides.
• Organizing and coordinating bringups of products in Alphawave and customer labs.
• Engaging with customers directly to resolve their questions and concerns.
• Strategizing with and defining new procedures, tasks, and goals for the new Product Applications Engineering team.

What You’ll Need:

• Technical writing skills to generate clear, precise documentation including datasheets, application notes, and similar guides for internal and customer-facing audiences.
• Familiarity with Lab equipment like power supplies, DMMs, sampling and real-time scopes, BERTs, and Network Analyzers
• Coding experience: Python (Strong preference), C/C++ (Optionally), and React.js (Optionally).
• Understanding of high-speed IC SerDes interfaces.
• Exposure to microcontroller FW programming.
