Organization Background:
For more than 100 years, AdvantAge Ontario has been the voice of not-for-profit seniors’ care in Ontario. We represent more than 530 providers of long-term care, seniors’ housing, supportive housing and community service agencies, including 96 per cent of all municipal long-term care homes and 88 per cent of all not-for-profit long-term care homes.
We are focused on the important work that members do and on giving them the support and resources they need including advocacy, education, communications, and member programs and services.

Responsibilities:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to support the Education Department during a busy period of program delivery and event preparation. This internship provides hands-on experience in event administration, digital learning platforms, and education program support.
Hours of work
Hours: 15 hours per week- 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Can also offer flexible days.
Skills & Competencies:
Student Assets and Requirements
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a relevant college or university program (e.g., Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing or Business Administration), or equivalent work experience.
Travel
Will require in-office work presence especially 2-3 weeks prior to Convention (convention takes place in April) and some offsite travel.
