Job Summary

The Engineering Technician Intern will support the Packaging Engineering team with analysis, repairs and projects in a fast-paced, automated manufacturing environment. The role focuses on technology, product quality and safety, requiring a strong interest in learning and mechanical repair.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair process equipment to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operation
• Read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings and process sheets for testing and analysis
• Document assembly and design reviews for installations on manufacturing test equipment
• Support continuous improvement activities and maintain Health & Safety/GMP standards
• Travel between facilities for critical repairs as needed

Key Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field
• Ability to read schematics and prints; basic understanding of mechanical systems
• Experience with maintenance systems and MS Office applications
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle is required
• Passion for mechanical repair and willingness to work flexible hours
