As our intern, you will have the opportunity to take part in the design process of industrial structures and learn from our great team of experts in the field.

Primary Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the design and preparation of plans and specifications
• Participate in detailed drawing review and mark-up for designers / drafters
• Produce construction documents, such as scope of work, bill of materials, and schedules
• Conduct technical studies or reports 
• Take responsibility for ensuring compliance with quality assurance system requirements 
• Solve technical problems requiring research and in-depth analysis 
• Assist engineers by performing tasks requiring precision in the production of necessary data
• Complete projects from Kick-off through completion of Construction / Commissioning
• Occasional site visits to construction sites or clients’ industrial sites for surveys or inspections

• Undergraduate student in Civil Engineering or Building Engineering 
• Excellent team work skills 
• Attention to detail and strong analytical thinking 
• Knowledge of software: MS Office, SAFI, SAP 2000 (asset)

The salary for this position ranges from $23.75 to $29.40 per hour, depending on your academic profile, the number of credits earned, and your previous co-op or internship experience. The final offer and salary may be adjusted based on your unique profile.
