Job Summary

This role provides support to the Finance team by enhancing the financial reporting framework and

streamlining the process flow of GL accounts. It involves consolidating large volumes of data,

performing detailed analysis and number crunching, and preparing comprehensive reporting

packages and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Consolidate expense reports and collaborate across departments to ensure accurate, consistent reporting
• Document process flows and GL pathways to support the creation of clear SOPs
• Assist in developing and stabilizing financial and system reports for management
• Prepare ad hoc reports and deliver actionable insights when needed
• Analyze sales performance by comparing actuals against budgets, standards, and forecasts
• Evaluate key spending areas (PPV, Freight, Handling & Storage, Rebates, Promotions, etc.) and perform root cause analysis on variances

Key Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or Accounting
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple business functions
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to manage deadlines and occasionally work extra hours when required
• A keen eye for process improvement and delivering accurate, meaningful financial insights
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to business success
