Position Overview
Join our GNSS team for a hands-on student opportunity where you’ll work at the intersection of field data collection and engineering analysis. As a Geomatics Intern, you’ll contribute to real-world testing of GNSS receivers and antennas—supporting field measurement campaigns, analyzing performance data, and contributing to technical insights that inform product development.
This full-time position starts in September and offers flexible term lengths of 4, 8, or 12 months. It is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of outdoor fieldwork and analytical problem-solving.
Responsibilities
Support field measurement campaigns using GNSS receivers and antenna systems
Collect, organize, and maintain accurate survey and test data
Assist with data processing, analysis, and performance evaluation of GNSS equipment
Contribute to technical reports, summaries, and documentation
Help coordinate and prepare for field testing activities
Support basic software testing and debugging related to data collection tools
Monitor data quality and identify inconsistencies or issues
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Geomatics Engineering or a related field
Strong interest in GNSS, positioning systems, or geospatial technologies
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working with data, calculations, and technical concepts
Familiarity with tools such as Excel, MATLAB, Python, or similar is an asset
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Additional Assets (Nice to Have)
Experience with GNSS equipment, surveying, or field data collection
Exposure to software testing or debugging
