PURPOSE OF POSITION

To provide administrative support to the Human Resources department including filing, data input, report creation, etc.

STATEMENT OF MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in preparing and processing recruitment advertisements and job postings; assist with telephone screens, references checks and in arranging interviews and onboarding


• Processing and overseeing all data contained within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS)


• Maintain a schedule of performance appraisal due dates and follow up with Managers and Supervisors


• Track mandatory and voluntary training in (HRIS), utilizing reports


• Help assist in updating Health and Safety Boards across offices, making sure they contain all required information


• Maintain Human Resources records


• Assist with the updating of HR forms, job descriptions as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

To apply for this job, you must:

• Be aged between 15 and 30 years old on the start date of the job;


• Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN); and


• Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada.
